Kennard ISD offers the following programs:
Kindergarten
Any child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024, and who lives in the
Kennard ISD School District is eligible to attend the District’s full-day kindergarten.
Pre-Kindergarten 4-year-old program & Head Start Program
Kennard ISD offers pre-kindergarten classes for children who are four years old
on or before September 1, 2024 and who live in the KISD district.
Parents should bring the following items to registration:
• 2 Proofs of residency within the district (contract on house, lease agreement, voter’s registration, actual
title to house, current utility bill (Current-within 30 days) utility bill- gas, electric or
water bill in the parent’s/guardian’s name which reflects the service address), or current
KISD tax statement.
• Child’s official birth certificate
• Legal documents stating guardianship (if not the parent registering student)
• Child’s immunization record
• Child’s social security card
• Photo ID of parent or guardian
If registering for Pre-Kindergarten programs, please bring the additional documents
listed
• Financial information such as (W2, 1019 form, last 3 pay stubs from current job)
*Please bring all required documents when you come to registration.
If you have a child who is eligible, please stop by the school anytime between 8am and
3pm on March 7th & 8th to register; or you can register on line at www.kennardisd.net
Your child will not be enrolled for the next school year until registration is complete.
If you do not have a child who is eligible for PK or Kindergarten,
