Kennard ISD Pre-Kindergarten has adopted the Frog Street Pre-K curriculum. This program is a comprehensive, dual-language program designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while supporting developmental learning domains.
Class Dojo is used by both teacher and parents for communication.
Circle Testing is done at the beginning, middle and end of the year to assess students. Parent reports are sent home after testing.

Items Required
Child must be four (4) on or before Sept. 1 of the current school year.
Copy of the child’s certified birth certificate
Copy of the immunization record
Copy of the child's social security card
Two proofs of Residency in District (Examples : Contract on house, lease agreement, voter's registration, actual title to house, current Kennard ISD tax statement, current utility bill (current-within 30 days). Utility bills include gas, electric or water bill in the parent/guardian's name which reflect the service address.
Copy of Driver's License or State ID of parent or guardian
Legal documents stating guardianship, if not the parent registering the student
Verification of family's income for the past year or last 12 months. (Example : 1040 tax form, check stubs (at least 4), TANF, SSI, Social Security, SNAP, Medicaid, or any other form of income.

Online Registration and Enrollment Opens in March Each School Year
Kennard ISD offers pre-kindergarten classes for children who are 4 years old on or before September 1, of the beginning of the school year and who live in the KISD district.
